Reward healthy activity with XP, level roles, and achievements without encouraging spam.
Overview
Leveling tracks activity over time and grants role rewards on milestone levels. Keep progression readable, transparent, and easy to verify.
Baseline settings
- Use XP min/max with cooldown to reduce spam farming.
- Set one dedicated level-up channel.
- Use ignore channels and ignore roles for noisy or off-topic spaces.
Level rewards and achievements
Start with two role milestones (for example level 10 and 20), then add achievements after two weeks of data.
If rewards feel too fast, lower multipliers before changing XP range.
Rollout and balancing guidance
- Run baseline settings for 7 days.
- Review top 20 users for outliers.
- Adjust multipliers by channel/role in small increments.
- Announce changes so members understand progression updates.
